Motorola introduces the Chinese-exclusive Motorola Razr 2022 after Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. The new handset emphasizes minimalism, portability, and pocketability in its design. This elegant design features an extended QuickView panel, a large OLED display, and outstanding back and front-facing cameras.
In particular, this Razr will feature a 6.7-inch display with a matte surface. This display will feature a blazing-fast 144Hz refresh rate, the greatest refresh rate of any foldable smartphone currently available. Similar to the previous Razr model, it will also include a smaller 2.7-inch Quick View display. The next Razr will have a 50MP + 13MP back camera and 32MP front-facing camera. Motorola claims the camera is the most advanced smartphone camera with OIS.
Regarding its chipset, the Motorola Razr will have a top-tier Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. Additionally, it will have Dolby Atmos for excellent sound quality. Lastly, the business has revealed that the device’s battery capacity would be 3,500mAh. When asked what they desire from a future Razr phone, the most common responses included a competitive price, increased power, and a larger battery. Compared to prior versions, it appears Motorola intends to implement some of the Razr’s most desired features. The cost of the phone is 6,000 Chinese yuan ($888).
Motorola Razr 2022 was set to debut in China today (August 2), but the event has been cancelled. With the imminent release of Samsung’s new foldable handsets, the Razr would certainly face an uphill competition.
