Vivo has gained a reputation for producing high-quality, affordable smartphones. Now, rumours are surfacing about what we’ll see when the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro launch in a few weeks. Here are the upcoming units’ details.
Vivo V25 Launch
The forthcoming V25 range bucks Vivo’s six-month refresh cycle, coming a few months after the June/July release.
Anonymous sources told 91Mobiles Hindi that the Vivo V25 Pro will be released on 25 August 2022. Vivo India verified the announcement on Twitter days later, with the 17 August 2022 release set for 12pm local time.
UK, US, and European availability is unknown. Despite everything, some India-bound cellphones never reach Europe.
Vivo V25 Price availability
Vivo hasn’t announced the device’s price or release date. But we have models to follow. New V-series devices cost:
- Vivo V23: €499/£29,990 ($350/$470).
- Vivo V23 Pro: £38,990 (about £390 / €460 / $520)
- Vivo V21: £399/€399/£29,990 ($519)
Vivo only lately began launching devices outside of Asia and other regions, with several models available in Europe. At the time of writing, the Vivo V21 5G has arrived in the UK, but only at the end of 2021, while the V23 5G was only available in mainland Europe.
With that in mind, we don’t really know what territories the V25, or its rumored Pro versions of it, will see outside of India when they finally launch. Vivo is one of many Chinese brands without a US presence, therefore US purchasers must import the phone.

This is another topic of curiosity, with rumours focusing on the more powerful V25 Pro model.
The V23 5G specs, which will likely be comparable to the V25, are as follows:

Many rumours say the V25’s processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 900. The V23 5G’s Dimensity 920 chip is the best. MyGadgetNews has the MediaTek Dimensity 920, our pick.
Most speculations say Vivo will use the same 6.44-inch AMOLED panel and 64MP + 8MP + 2MP camera setup as the V23 5G.
A leaked Geekbench listing indicates the Pro variant will have the same Dimensity 1300 as the OnePlus Nord 2T and Oppo Reno 8. Leaked Geekbench listings show 8GB and 12GB V25 Pro versions.
It reportedly has a 32MP selfie camera with OIS. The Pro model will also have color-changing Fluorite AG glass and 66W quick charging, according to reports. If you can’t wait for the Vivo range, check out our best Chinese phones, best Android phones, and best phone deals recommendations.
