After months of waiting, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is finally here, and the phones don’t let anyone down. To get any of the phones as soon as they start shipping, you have to preorder them now. But with so many colour options, how do you choose? We’ll talk about the different shades so you can tell them apart and choose the one that works best for you.
Choosing the colour of a new flagship is, of course, one of the most exciting parts of the process. This year, Samsung has a lot of different options, which can make it hard to choose. That’s why we’re here to help. Samsung has always been pretty safe when it comes to the colours of its Galaxy S phones, and this year’s Galaxy S22 lineup is no different. The Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ are both available in the same range of colours. The S22 Ultra is the only one that has a different colour to make it stand out.
For Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ the official colors are:
- Phantom white
- Phantom Black
- Pink Gold
For Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Phantom white
- Phantom black
Colour option for the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus
The phone comes in white, black, green, and pink, starting with the regular Galaxy S22. There are no two-tone colours like the purple and gold of the Galaxy S21, but the ones that are available look great.
For people who are interested in the bigger Galaxy S22+, it comes in the same colours. The S22+ comes in white, black, green, and pink, just like the regular S22. The colours aren’t anything new, but it’s hard to find something wrong with any of them. White and black are just what you’d think they would be. The S22/S22+ looks stark and simple when it’s white, while it looks quiet and stealthy when it’s black. This year, green might be the best colour for the S22/S22+. It gives the phones a deep forest green look, like the Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro but with more colour. The light pink option is best described as a “blush pink.” It’s not as striking as green, but it could be perfect for someone who wants a splash of colour without going overboard.
Colour option for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s colour options are similar to the S22 and Plus. Phantom Black is a vintage Samsung Galaxy model with a matte black colour. There are also four colours to choose from for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Three of them are the same as the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus, but the Ultra phone has one that stands out. Again, if you don’t care much about the colour of your phone and would rather protect it with a case, you can look at the best Galaxy S22 Ultra cases.
Burgundy is similar to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s “Mystic Bronze” colour. Galaxy S22 Ultra is redder than Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but inspiration is clear. This becomes particularly evident when you examine the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s dull hues, which were Samsung.com exclusives in select places like the US.
Samsung Galaxy S22 colours. Green looks best, but I’d choose Burgundy for Ultra. Sky Blue is a beautiful colour if you can get it. The perfect colour for you is the one that stuns you. Plus, you may personalise your Galaxy S22 Ultra or S22+ with the greatest cases.
