There are several new features in Oxygen OS 13, including a new design language.

OnePlus says Oxygen OS 13 is “aquamorphic” The design is “soothing, natural, and adaptable,” inspired by water. Oxygen OS 13 will be brighter in the morning and “intelligently shift” to a darker aesthetic at night.
The design echoes Samsung’s nature-inspired TouchWiz skin years ago. Screenshots imply a more restricted, performant nature theme than Samsung’s existing skin, but we’ll need to test it.
OXYGEN OS 13 New Features
OnePlus promises a new OxygenOS 13 design “inspired by water.”” Aquamorphic Design is the company’s design language.” The new design seems to move towards a ColorOS-like interface, something OnePlus has been criticised for. Softer, rounder window edges will improve the user interface’s appearance.
OxygenOS 13 also includes speed enhancements and new features. OnePlus will have an always-on display. OxygenOS 13 Always-On displays support Spotify and Bitmoji. Further, the launcher will get upgrades and a new Sidebar Toolbox, like Oppo’s ColourOS. It works in the same way in that you can add applications or actions to it, and immediately start them by swiping the toolbox out.
Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos compatibility, audio switch for effortlessly switching between Bluetooth headphones and earbuds, Nearby Share and App streaming for sharing the phone’s display with ChromeOS devices. OxygenOS 13 will also bring Private Safe 2.0, which safeguards data, documents, and media files in a virtual safe.

Release date
OxygenOS 13 will be released for the OnePlus 10 Pro in Q4 2022, according to OnePlus. Open Beta will be released this week, with the stable build following in the next months. The 10T will get OxygenOS 13 after the 10 Pro.
