Ticwatch GTH series is Xiaomi’s rival. Both lineups share a squarish design, RTOS, health features, a budget-friendly price, and decent battery life.
In April 2021, Mobvoi released the initial GTH. Ticwatch GTH Pro (March 2022) was released less than a year after its predecessor. Mobvoi added a new (Dual PPG) sensor to the Ticwatch GTH Pro. All other features are similar.
Key Differences
Both watches have the same design, screen size, and resolution. TicWatch GTH Pro employs Arty heart health and dual sensor technology, the world’s first smart wearable to have two PPG sensors that deliver unique, user-specific insights about artery health and other biometrics through high-fidelity wrist and fingertip sensing sites. The table below provides details.

Design Outlook
These two smartwatches may look identical at first. Both have a square face like the Apple Watch and a side button.
The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro has a 1.5-inch 360×320 colour touchscreen display, whereas the Mobvoi TicWatch GTH has a Raven black surface. Both have a single 20mm strap, the GTH Pro is rubber and the GTH is silicone, and both are quick-release with interchangeable bands from the business or third parties.
The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro incorporates a side-mounted PPG sensor to detect health parameters (more on these later). The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro is comfy, according to Android Central’s Chris Wedel. Both let you choose from a variety of watch faces via the Mobvoi app, and you can even use your own photo. Tilt-to-wake vs. always-on display. Both have a 10-day battery life, which means you’ll only need to recharge every week and a half, unlike other smartwatches.
With a 5ATM certification, you can wear them while swimming, showering, cleaning dishes, or in rain, snow, or other damp circumstances. Both use the unique RTOS software, which is different from Google’s WearOS. If you prefer Google WearOS, seek elsewhere.
Common Features
Both smartwatches track exercises and health indicators similarly, steps, oxygen, heart rate, sleep, and skin temperature. Both have 14 workouts, including running, indoor cycling, swimming, and walking, plus soccer, gymnastics, and rope skipping. Use “freestyle” for anything else.
Both can assess heart rate variability to determine stress, have guided breathing exercises to calm and focus, and have TicMotion proactive workout detection. This will detect your activity and remind you to start tracking if you forget. They’ll also encourage you when you meet goals while exercising.
Both can track light, deep, duration, and quality sleep. Every morning, you’ll get a sleep quality rating to improve.
Specialities
The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro focuses on heart health. Using the Arty Health platform and Dual PPG sensors (including the side one), you’ll get more detailed blood flow and arterial health readings. CardieX increases accuracy.
This includes a TruHR score, a more accurate heart measurement, eCAP, your exercise capacity measured by blood flow to your inner heart muscles, and HSX, which determines how hard your heart must pump to move blood through stiff arteries.
Using arterial stiffness, Arty Age estimates your age. If this is higher than your chronological age, be more active and get in shape. You get an Arty Score based on proprietary heart health metrics. Overall, it’s more accurate than the previous GTH model for measuring heart health.
But, and. Wedel found that he needed multiple readings to get a result, often receiving error messages. Assuming these kinks can be worked out, the Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro is worth it for monitoring heart health.
The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH uses sensor data to help develop a system that can predict COVID-19’s early warning signs. This probably applies to the Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro.
