Iphone 14 event Update: Apple usually introduces new iPhones in the first half of September, on the first or second Tuesday. We rule out September 6 as a date for the Iphone 14 event because Labor Day is on September 5 in the US.
What rumours say
One rumour said that Apple would break with tradition and show off the iPhone 14 series on September 6 this year. Later, a leaker who goes by the name @ihacktu hinted that Apple has something planned for September 7, which is a Wednesday. A couple of days later, well-known leaker Max Weinbach also said that Apple may hold the event on September 7.
It looks like those rumours were true, as Mark Gurman, a respected journalist at Bloomberg, said today that the iPhone 14 series will probably be shown off on September 7. He also confirmed that the movie will come out on September 16.
The rumour says the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will replace 5.4-inch samll iPhone 13 . This will be the first time Apple makes a standard model with such a big screen.
For more screen space, the Pro line is likely to have a pill-shaped hole for the Face ID components and a hole cutout for the front camera. The Pro models will probably get a new A16 chip and a new main camera with 48MP resolution. There will be small changes to the regular models.. We can also look forward to better video recording and a battery that lasts longer.
Apple believes the Pro versions will be among the greatest phones of 2022, despite being $100 more expensive than the phones they replace.
Along with the iPhone 14, Apple will release three smartwatches: the Series 8, a more robust Pro model for athletes with a body-temperature sensor and women’s health features, and a cheaper SE model with a speedier CPU.
