HONOR will announce its newest devices/technology at IFA 2022, Berlin, Germany.
IFA, or Internationale Funkausstellung, is Europe’s biggest electronics exhibition where Samsung and Apple show off new smartphones. The date is September 2, and it’s 5 PM in Berlin, which is 11:00 PM in the Philippines.
The brand hasn’t confirmed its impending Philippines-first gadget lineup. Honor’s IFA 2022 theme “Embracing the Connected Future” gives Filipinos a chance to learn about new technologies.
Honor will live-stream the ceremony using an embedded YouTube video. Link to Filipino live stream. Honor CEO George Zhao will discuss a new linked reality at IFA 2022.
Honor plans to return to the Philippines with local partners in 2022, creating a smart world for all with its powerful devices and services. CEO George Zhao will discuss how it is ushering in a paradigm change for smart living solutions that enable device interoperability between smartphones, tablets, PCs, and wearables. Tony Ran, President of Honor Europe, will discuss how Europeans may use the new HONOR Smart Life devices.
HONOR prioritizes R&D and emerging technology. They motivate people to go beyond themselves and achieve more. Zhao stresses.
Honor’s “Connected Future” keynote:
We can guess what devices will be displayed from the keynote graphic. It shows phone, laptop, tablet, and earbud icons, which we know. Last week, Honor confirmed the Honor 70‘s September 2 release date, so we may expect it to be released outside of China during the presentation. Honor has also teased earbuds. Any major modifications will be beneath the hood, as they seem comparable to Honor’s existing earphones. The event will provide more details.
Not just gadgets. “Embracing the Connected Future” is Honor’s event slogan. Honor teased it will join Matter, a new smart home protocol that connects smart home devices.
The vast line-up of new gadgets signals the availability of more smart home items, or at least the option to better link Honor devices with them. The other emblems don’t suggest anything by themselves (perhaps Honor is planning a hugging event at the keynote), but together they suggest connections.
Android Police or Honor’s events website will stream the event. Honor’s social media outlets are also available. If reports about an Honor ecosystem are true, it will help the firm separate itself from Huawei.
