Samsung beta-tested One UI Watch 4.5 on the Galaxy Watch 4 series a few months ago. Recent releases of the company’s beta firmware focus on bug repairs. This suggested the release was near. Samsung has ended the One UI Watch 4.5 beta programme a week after the last build. Now seeding stable update to Watch 4 beta users.

One UI Watch 4.5, based on Wear OS 3.5, adds various new watch faces. To customise existing watch faces, make copies. Favorite watch faces can be easily accessed. The update adds swipe-to-type and tweaks the Samsung keyboard’s interface. It lets you effortlessly transition between text input methods.

One UI Watch 4.5 improves accessibility. Color and hue adjustments can raise contrast and readability. Reduce transparency, blur, and system animations. Samsung’s new watch lets hard-of-hearing users adjust the left/right sound balance of Bluetooth headphones. One UI Watch 4.5 lets you switch between dual-SIMs via the smartwatch. You can even choose the SIM card for wearing calls.

One UI Watch 4.5 adds a QWERTY keyboard with swipe input, replacing Samsung’s T-9 keypad. No need to install Gboard on your smartwatch for better typing. The new QWERTY keyboard supports dictation and handwritten input when you don’t want to swipe the watch’s screen.

One UI Watch 4.5 adds a QWERTY keyboard to earlier Wear OS smartwatches and dual-SIM compatibility. Dual-SIM functionality lets you set a preferred SIM on your Galaxy phone, which syncs with your Galaxy Watch 4. You may check the current SIM on the watch and switch between the two when making calls.

One UI Watch 4.5 improves the Galaxy Watch 4 series’ customizability. You can add your favourite watch face in different colours and complexities to the favourites list.

The update now offers accessibility tools to modify hue and contrast, reduce transparency and blur effects, and disable animations. New accessibility features include sound balance and touch interaction options.
