Apple’s iPhone 14 event is reportedly Sept 7 and sales start Sept 16.

iPhone 14 price increase

Apple’s iPhone 14 event: We’re getting close to the time when people expect Apple to release new hardware. According to a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the event could happen on September 7 and the game could come out on September 16. “Some retail store workers have been told to get ready for a big new product coming out on September 16,” Gurman writes.

Apple has its annual launch event every September. Since the pandemic started, the event has changed to a livestream that is very polished and well put together. Reports say that Apple employees have also started to record parts of the virtual presentation.

September 7 is said to be the date of an iPhone 14 event by Apple.
Apple is likely to announce four new iPhone 14 models, new Mac computers, new iPads, and a new Apple Watch. With the iPhone 14, there won’t be a mini model. Instead, there will be two models with 6.1-inch screens and two with 6.7-inch screens. This is the first time Apple has made a 6.7-inch iPhone that isn’t a Pro model.

The iPhone 14 models are expected to have a new notch design with big improvements to the selfie camera. The iPhone 14 Pro will have a bigger camera island, and the new Pro models will have the A16 chipset. It is also said that the Pro model will have an always-on display.

Release Date and rumoured features

Bloomberg reports that Apple items unveiled on September 7 could hit shelves on September 16. Apple retail shop personnel are being encouraged to prepare for a significant product rollout on that date, says Gurman. This is normal for Apple’s iPhone rollouts.

Apple’s Sept. 7 event should be crowded. Gurman predicts the iPhone 14 will appear then, along with two iPhone 14 Pro variants and a new iPhone 14 Max. This smartphone should be cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The iPhone 14 base model and iPhone 14 Max are rumoured to use the iPhone 13 Pro’s A15 Bionic chipset.

The iPhone 14 Pro versions likely see the most improvements, including a new appearance that eliminates the notch. A16 Bionic chipset and 48MP camera are also rumoured.

Event outlook

The reported September 7 date is in line with estimates that Apple will release new phones in the first half of September, while September 13 appeared more likely. Recently, tipsters suggested September 6 as the debut date.

Apple sends invitations a week or two before product releases, so we should know soon. This year’s iPhone debut will be virtual, predicts Bloomberg.
