All models of the iPhone 14 went up for preorders the same week that Apple held its “Far Out” event. After almost a week of being available for preorder, it seems like the iPhone 14 Plus isn’t getting as much attention as the other phones.
On Friday, people could start putting in orders for the new iPhone. Even though the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are all expected to be late, it doesn’t look like the iPhone 14 Plus will be late.
MacRumors says that the iPhone 14 Plus can still be delivered the same day. Unlike the other models, there is still no estimate for when the handset will be shipped. This could mean that there isn’t much demand for the handset. This seems to back up what Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said to expect.
The iPhone 14 Plus won’t be delayed despite weaker-than-expected demand. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed demand for the non-Pro 6.7-inch iPhone is lower than for last year’s 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini. Kuo: “Apple’s normal model product segmentation fails this year.”
The iPhone 14 Plus is for users who desire a larger iPhone without high-end features. Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Plus has the same chip as the iPhone 13 Pro, improved camera, and other minor upgrades. Reviewers labelled the iPhone 14 a “iPhone 13S,” citing its little enhancements and modifications.
